The idea that Woodrow Wilson had that made him believe that collective security would help prevent another world war was that if the world was in one large group single countries would fear stepping out of line. This would be because they would run the rick of having no alliance and in turn have the rest of the world against them leaving the collective security. The League of Nations was doomed from its creation because when the group was created U.S.A, Russia, and Germany were not included. Those three countries were the biggest power houses in the world at that time. This was crucial because if one of those three countries was to step out of line rather then the League of Nations being strong enough to put them in line they would be in danger.

The big three were: Woodrow wilson, George Clemenceau, and David Lloyd George. Woodrow Wilson was the president who led the american delegation and submitted his 14 points towards piece after world war 1. George Clemenceau was the France leader. He did not support the 14 points and wanted to make Germany suffer with expensive reparations for starting the war. Lastly, David Lloyd George was the british leader. He believed in both creating peace as Germany would be a great trade partner. However he also wanted reparations. The Big three was once called the big four because Italy was once involved. Italy was promised land as part of the treaty but when the time came to sign the treaty Italy was not given the land and left rendering the group the big three.I am Kyle Bell and I was born in Victoria BC.
