Summary
In 1960, John F. Kennedy was elected the 35th President of the United States. Kennedy was the youngest ever President (43 years old), as well as the only Catholic President. One of JFK's famous quotes are, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." One major crisis that occurred during the 60's was the U-2 incident as an American spy plan was shot down by USSR that was flying over Russia.
